Joint leaders Churchstoke were left in the dark when their Montgomeryshire and District Airgun League match against Crew Green 'A' was abandoned due to a power cut.

It allowed their main rivals to take advantage with both Arddleen and Guilsfield A picking up wins.

Arddleen showed superb consistency at Crew Green B, 203-196.7 with Martin Pearce Arddleen shooting a possible 35.5 for the victors.

Guilsfield A returned from Llanfair with a comfortable 203.1-189.9 win with the out-of-sorts Llanfair team struggling to match the superb shooting by the away side with Paul Phillips 35.6 and Roger Knight 35.5 getting possibles.

Guilsfield 'B' hosted Castle at the school house and took full advantage of an off night by the castle team with a 199.7-193.2 win to leapfrog them in the table up to fourth.

The individual competitions could not be finished due to lack of time but there was some fantastic shooting with 10 possible scores of 35 during the evening.

As a result, the semi-finals and final will be held this Thursday at the Royal Oak together with the lower half individuals and under 17 individuals.
