Fly tipper dumps 10 sacks at town hall!

Welshpool’s fly tipping problem has quite literally arrived at the town’s doors of power!

The town council revealed that 10 sacks were dumped at the back of the Town Hall over the weekend, sparking more online anger from local residents.

“The rubbish sacks were left there by a fly tipper who just drove up in a car and emptied them out,” said town clerk, Robert Robinson.

“We are now keeping a record of the number of sacks of fly tipping being collected and will measure it against the amount we collect after April when the re-cycling centres reduce to three days a week.”
