More memories in pictures

Former Welshpool man John Bebb has sent us two more pictures of Welshpool football teams from the past

 The significance the Welshpool Boys Club team c1965/66 (not to be confused with the Youth Centre team) was that it was made up of both Boys Club players and Youth Centre players just for that game. I don't think the Boys Club ever played another game. The Boys Club used to meet on premises in New Street and was run by Mr Lloyd E. Evans (Tegwyn Evans's father).

This is a  picture of Welshpool Youth Centre Team which John thinks contained some of the town's best ever players with at least three or perhaps four going on to play for Wales.
