The winner of a competition to spend a weekend in Montgomery has said she was treated like royalty.

The Montgomery Spring Break competition was organised to promote the town and the businesses that are based there with the winner having a VIP experience.

After spending a night there with her partner Jake and daughter Eliza, Laura Morris, from Westbury, said: “WOW is all we can say. We were treated like royalty. We had a wonderful time and will be visiting Montgomery again soon and telling all of our friends about it!”

She received a commemorative personalised Loveboard from its maker, Nigel Phillips (pictured) at the Cloverlands model car museum in the town. Taste Montgomery members donated a variety of prizes including a holiday cottage for the weekend, local food and drinks, visits and handmade gifts as a part of a social media competition.
