One of the main roads linking Wales with England has reopened, easing the traffic woes for cross-border commuters.
Flooding around Llanymynech forced the closure of the main Welshpool-Oswestry road both ways on Saturday night but it has now reopened this morning.
However, there are still numerous flood warnings in place and roads remain closed.
Meanwhile, there’s further frustration for motorists heading through Welshpool town centre after work started on the traffic lights at the Cross. Disruptions are expected to last for two weeks until the one-way system is officially opened on February 21.
