Big Internet contract success for Gloversure
GloverSure web and mobile app development company was selected from thousands of companies globally to deliver the ecommerce website for American firm Green Hat Kiteboarding.
The deal marks the firm's first assignment in America and has inspired the GloverSure team to continue broadening their transatlantic horizons
Alex Hinton, designer and project manager said he was excited to have worked on the website and hoped the firm might win more overseas projects from America
"It was great to work with Green Hat Kiteboarding on their new website, all the team are really pleased with how the website turned out and the fact they are based in the US is a real bonus. I'm hoping that I will have the chance to meet the guys in New Jersey later this year; I might even have a go at kiteboarding.
Although a debut in America, the website is not the first the firm has completed for an international client: to date, GloverSure has carried out work for businesses and organisations in Nigeria, Denmark, France, Spain and Jamaica
Richard Glover-Davies, Managing Director of GloverSure, said winning the project is a testament to the talent, creativity and dedication of the team
"The fact that we were chosen from companies potentially all over the world demonstrates the great work our designers and developers do," he said
"Winning this American contract also made me consider Brexit in a new light: rather than focusing on doom and gloom prophecies about leaving the European Union, as a business we can pursue fantastic opportunities both within and outside of Europe. We don't have to be constrained. There are also lots of other great businesses in the area, many of whom already do a great deal of international trade: together, we could put Mid Wales on the map.
Mr Glover-Davies added the company has delivered hundreds of magento ecommerce stores over their 13 years of business.
"It's fantastic that this American company found us by doing a Google search. It shows how important Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is to help a business be found and have a significant online presence.
A spokesperson for Green Hat Kiteboarding said they were happy to have found GloverSure and enjoyed working with them on the project.
