It’s Day Two of our 30 daily fitness tips for April and our partners Great Fitness say it is time we took a ‘HIIT’.

High Intensity Interval Training is about burning as much fat as you can, in as short a burst as you can, and here is a cracking tip whether you are on the treadmill or down the school field.

It is ideal if you don’t have much time to give and there are many ways of performing HIIT, but here is a very simple example using running.

Great Fitness recommend a sprint/fast paced run for 20 seconds, and for 40 seconds you can rest! Sounds easy?

Repeat this process for 10-15 minutes for one of the most effective ways of burning fat.
