There’s some good news and some bad news for Day 24 of our 30 days of fitness tips campaign running throughout April.

The good news from our friends at Great Fitness is that we are all allowed to snack! The bad news is we have to be careful what we eat when we do it.

“Try to snack smarter,” said Chris Greatorex, of Great Fitness. “We know what it can be like at work, where cakes get brought in or tasty looking donuts.

“Although you can allow yourself one of these if you have your flexible dieting on track, avoiding them overall is the best option. As we mentioned earlier in our April fitness tips, you need to prepare for situations like this.

“Nuts, apples, bananas, protein shakes are all viable options you could easily have with you at work for those times when you need a snack, or there are temptations looking right at you. That preparation can make all the difference.”
