Organisers are today putting the final pieces into place for the annual Bob Jones Memorial Air Show which takes place at Welshpool, tomorrow (Sunday).
With appearances from the Red Arrows and the OV-10 Bronco Demo Team topping the bill Welshpool is all set for another amazing show.
“The Airshow this year has a full, varied and very exciting, line-up of aircraft that will be providing air displays over Mid Wales Airport,” said a spokesperson.
“The range includes historic and iconic planes that were so successful in defending the UK during WWII which have been kept airworthy for 60 years by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight unit. They are known by many as “a flying museum.”
“As well as air displays there are vehicles from all areas transport history commercial, private, farming as well as motorbikes. As these exhibits are brought to the show by their enthusiastic owners it is possible to discover their history from manufacture up to the present time.
Known for being an enjoyable day out for the whole family there are also stalls, stands, attractions especially aimed at children and lastly, but by no means least, you have a helicopter ride which gives a whole different view of Welshpool and surrounding area.”
