Marie Curie are appealing to the local community to help them to grow and maintain the charity tins and Daffodil boxes that are out in the local community.

As a Collection Box Coordinator you will visit existing sites a few times a year to swap full tins for empty ones and use your local knowledge to seek new locations.

You’ll also play a key part in the Great Daffodil Appeal in March, by helping to place and collect daffodil boxes. This role is flexible and varied, so you can really make it your own. You can organise your time so that your volunteering fits around your life.

Victoria Hardy local Community Fundraiser said: “You'll be amazed how much money is donated through collection boxes. As a collection box coordinator you will be responsible for your own network of collection tins and daffodil boxes. Whether it’s a local shop or leisure Centre, the more boxes you can place and collect, the more money you will raise for Marie Curie.”

The money raised will be used to directly support the charity in providing one-to-one nursing care and support for people living with a terminal illness, as well as supporting family and carers.

If you can help please contact your local community fundraising team on 01745 352910 or nwalesfundraising@mariecurie.org.uk.
