What should Welshpool's priorities be?

03/07/2017 @ 06:03

A public consultation has opened asking for residents in the Welshpool area to give their views on what the town’s priorities should be over the coming five years.

Running until September 7, the Council is consulting on the new Welshpool Town and Community Plan which will set the programme, polices and activities of the Council for the period 2017 to 2022.

“Please get involved as your views will shape the final plan going forward,” said Town Clerk, Robert Robinson.

“A copy of the plan and the survey can be found on the Council’s web site at www.welshpooltowncouncil.gov.uk or a hard copy can be gained from the Tourist Information Centre.

“All village and other town residents who use Welshpool as their centre and wish to make comment may do so either online or by calling at the Tourist Information Centre.”

Drop-in days to see the plan in Welshpool, the Belan and Pool Quay are being arranged.

A booklet will be delivered to every home in Welshpool in the next two weeks and the booklet will be in the Tourist Information Centre as well.

If there are any groups who would like to discuss the plan with the Town Clerk please do let us know on 01938 553142 or email wtcouncil@btinternet.com
