Choir switches night to lure new singers

The Guilsfield Singers is looking for new members and has changed its weekly meet to become more appealing to new members.
The choir’s regular Wednesday slot has been switched to a Thursday in a bid to better accommodate current members and also to attract fresh voices, particularly tenors and basses. They meet at the village’s Old School at 7.30pm.
They are currently rehearsing for a spring concert on May 14 to be performed with the Maldwyn Strings at St Mary’s Church in Welshpool.
