Top marks for MMP’s staff

Staff at a local estate agents have passed rigorous training and become Associate Members of the prestigious Guild of Property Professionals.

The achievement means that Morris Marshall and Pool (MMP), which has nine offices throughout Powys, Shropshire, Ceredigion, Gwynedd and in London, can offer customers unparalleled knowledge and expertise in all aspects of estate agency and lettings law, including regulations, Codes of Practice issued by the Guild, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and other professional organisations.

Over 50 staff have now become associate members of the Guild through the training and examinations.

“To obtain this qualification, you must demonstrate, under examination conditions, a full understanding of the responsibilities of an estate agent, laws and regulations and that means out clients can expect the best possible service at all times,” said Andrew Turner, a Partner at MMP.

“This level of training and the exceptional enthusiasm of our team who strive to be the best of the best, puts MMP head and shoulders above any other property business in the region.”

The company, which also offers property surveying, agricultural, commercial, auctions, lettings and property management, expanded last month with the opening of an office in Rhayader, Powys.

The company now has teams at Newtown, Llanidloes, Welshpool, Oswestry, Machynlleth, Aberystwyth, Tywyn, Rhayader and associates in London. 

The Guild of Property Professionals is the largest network of independent estate agents in the UK with over 800 members.

In addition to the training, it offers clients of member companies many other benefits. these include the opportunity to market property through the exclusive National Property Centre in Park Lane, Mayfair, London, advertising in regional lifestyle and property guides, access to specialist marketing and data to attract home buyers through the latest online media.
