Town Hall roof repairs

Welshpool Town Hall roof needs a patch-up that will cost nearly £3,000.

Our town centre landmark has undergone extensive work over the past five years or so but this new work is due to damaged lead work on the roof over the Assembly Room.

“It was fractured due to age and hot weather over many years,” said a town council spokesperson. “The cost of this repair is £2,800 due to the need to use specialist equipment to reach the areas in need of repair.”
