A Green Flag Day celebration

Residents in the Welshpool area are invited to celebrate Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust’s recent Green Flag Award for their community nature reserve, Severn Farm Pond, in Welshpool.

Attendees are invited to bring a picnic and celebrate with a cuppa and cake and there will be some summer activities thrown in for the family.

It takes place on Wednesday from 11am-2pm when visitors can meet the dedicated ‘Friends of Severn Farm Pond’ volunteers and staff who will hold guided tours around the site they keep safe and inspiring for visiting groups and individuals to enjoy all year around.

There will also be free family friendly art oasis activities and crafts, as well as teas and refreshments kindly provided by Friends Of Severn Farm Pond. Donations will be welcomed.
