Park your cars the right way tonight!

Welshpool should be waking up tomorrow (Monday) to a brand new road system.

 

Developers will be working through the night to finish the final work for the much heralded one-way system and residents are being warned to ensure that their cars are pointing the correct way tonight.

 

While planners concede that there may be teething problems, they are confident that it should be all systems go for Monday morning traffic.

 

“We have planned every detail of the work required tonight and have informed every household on the route of what is expected,” said Town Clerk Robert Robinson. “The important thing is for people to ensure their vehicles are pointing the correct way tonight so they avoid trouble in the morning.”

 

Mr Robinson admitted that there will be some noise disruption tonight but said that it will hopefully be kept to a minimum. The one-way system is expected to be finished by 4am. For any concerns tonight, the hotline is 07767 267830.
