Parking permits are set to be introduced for some areas of the town to clamp down on commuters trying to avoid paying to park.
Since the double yellows were extended throughout the town centre, motorists have been parking further afield and creating new headaches in residential areas.
But now, Welshpool Town Council would like to discuss the possibility of introducing parking permits in certain areas of the town, and will seek the views of affected residents.
The meetings will take place at the Town Hall on the following dates.
