Police say they are yet to find a breakthrough in the shocking case where a dog was allegedly killed in a hit and run last week.
Readers were stunned when we broke the news of a dog being clipped by a white van whilst out for a walk with its owner in Four Crosses. Chillingly, the van is then said to have reversed over the dog which died shortly afterwards at the vets.
Despite a huge public outcry and appeal, following our request for an update the police said: “No arrests yet, investigation ongoing.”
The incident happened a week last Saturday at around 11am in the Foxen Manor area of the village. If you have any information, call 101.
