Book worms across the Welshpool area can breathe a sigh of relief if they have been delaying the return of a long-lost library book to avoid the fines.
To mark National Libraries Week, overdue books can be returned to local libraries without any questions being asked, and no fines being issued!
“If you forgot, then we forgive so we are holding a fines amnesty until October 14 (Saturday),” said a spokesperson.
Powys County Council is supporting Libraries Week by promoting the various services available at their properties across the county.
