Police seek bike thieves

Police are seeking information following the theft of two expensive bikes from a premises in Shortbridge Street, Newtown, but believe they could be anywhere in the area.

The thefts happened sometime between January 29-31 when a  Giant TALONI, black and white18 inch framecycle and a Giant Trance X4 White 20 inch frame were stolen.

"The Giant Trance is a 2011 model and therefore distinctive and will be the only one around the Newtown/Welshpool area as it has only just been released," said a police spokesman.
 
Anyone who has seen either of the bikes is asked to contact Newtown Police Station on 101.
