Big wins for pace setters

Amateur League Honda Division One high flyers Guilsfield Reserves, Bishop’s Castle and Four Crosses all won big in the prestigious Emrys Morgan Cup at the weekend.

In the only competition to include all of the amateur clubs from Mid and West Wales, the three Montgomeryshire League clubs scored a whopping 31 goals to send a serious message to their cross league rivals.

Crosses won 11-1 against Maesglas, while Guilsfield Reserves trounced Borth Reserves 9-0. Bishop’s Castle put 11 unanswered goals past Llanon.
