An enlightening talk on the 28 World War I soldiers buried or commemorated at Christ Church, Welshpool, will be delivered in the town next Tuesday evening.

The first meeting of the 2017-2018 season of The Welshpool Society will be held from 7.30pm at The Corn Exchange, Welshpool Town Hall.

Natalie Bass will give a talk based on her experience of restoring, preserving and living in Christ Church, and she will share the stories of those fallen soldiers.

It will give a great local insight into events of the Great War, as well as life in Welshpool 100 years ago.

All are welcome and the admission is £2.50. Tea and coffee will be available.
