The doors to the Ann Holloway Day Centre will be open today for anyone to look at the facilities available.
The Open Day takes place between 10am and 2pm and includes a raffle and a cup of tea for visitors.
Open Monday to Friday, The Ann Holloway Day Care Centre is located on Salop Road, Welshpool (opposite the hospital).
Anybody can attend, the centre is open during the day to meet other people, have lunch and take part in activities such as boat trips, bingo sessions, singing and trips on the steam railway. Basic personal care is included and hair appointments are also available.
Meals are freshly prepared on site with any dietary requirements catered for. Transport to and from the Centre can be arranged.
The Centre has recently had a new conservatory built and a new garden is under construction.
You don’t need to have a referral from Social Services or the doctors to attend the centre, simply contact the Centre directly, Tel: 01938 554458.
The charges for attending the centre are subsidised for Welshpool residents.
