Forden homes plan turned down

Plans for nine new homes on land opposite to Forden School have been rejected by Powys County Council.

Mr & Mrs V Jones, The View, Forden, were seeking planning permisison to build nine properties at Little Acre but the council planners have rejected the application.

The grounds for the Council's decision to refuse permission for the development are:-

1.       The proposed development is considered to be unsustainable development in the open countryside contrary to Planning Policy Wales (9th Edition, 2016) and:

2.      Insufficient information has been submitted to demonstrate that the proposed development would not have a detrimental impact on archaeological remains at the site.
