Is this the best one-way story yet?

It’s fair to say that Welshpool’s one-way system did not enjoy the best of launches this past week so mywelshpool has decided to put a smile back on the faces of frustrated motorists.

 

There’s been one or two light hearted moments that have reached our newsdesk and thankfully the stories of trucks and cars going the wrong way have not caused any casualties.

 

But one yarn has reached us from Saturday night which would win the Oscar for ‘Best One-way Story’ without a rival in sight.

 

One reveller, who will remain nameless and no doubt struggling from an early start watching the afternoon’s rugby, thought he had to walk the one-way system to get home! It was not reported whether he was stuck in traffic or forced to re-route when finding Mill Lane was closed!
