A place to moan!

We all like a good moan, and now you can do it in a public forum so that your fellow residents can join in!

The Welshpool Moaning Pot has been set-up on Facebook after admins of the former Melting Pot page, which was set up to promote the town and its events, became inundated with people having a good old moan.

The turning point came at Christmas when a debate around the Boxing Day Hunt turned nasty.

“We’ve had enough of the moaning on a page that was supposed to be promoting everything positive!” one of the Melting Pot admins told us. “It reached a head this week when someone posted on the page that they were unhappy with the way a doctor spoke to her mum. It was time to change and bring the page back to what it was set up for.”

So, the Welshpool Moaning Pot has been set up and has already hit the spot with over 350 members joining.

People have already moaned about parents’ school parking, dog poo and the Morrisons bogus parking fines.
