More than 90 cars are expected to take part in the Welsh Border Car Club’s Border 200 Rally which will be held on local tracks criss-crossing the border next week.
Held over the bank holiday weekend of May 4-6, the 200-mile rally will get underway at Oswestry Showground on the Friday night, before teams face a unique test of driver aptitude, navigator expertise and team dedication.
A highlight of the weekend is sure to be the special test - held at Rednal Kart Track - which will allow spectators to get up close and personal with the teams and see their true skills in action.
“The Border 200 organising team is committed to both hosting an enjoyable event for crews and spectators and taking the chance to do some fundraising,” said a spokesperson.
“Our chosen charities for the event are Cancer Research UK and Hope House. Well deserving and making a difference in our area, we are grateful to be afforded the opportunity to raise vital funds for these charities.”
