Train to save a life

The area is welcoming more and more lifesaving defibrillators but the harsh reality is that most of us wouldn’t have a clue how to use one.

Fund raisers have been working hard to ensure that the machines are located in prominent public areas at towns and villages across Montgomeryshire, and they could mean the difference between life and death in emergency situations.

On Friday (tomorrow), the Welshpool Hospital League of Friends have organised two drop-in sessions of Defibrillator (AED) Training at the Town hall Corn Exchange from 10am-2pm and 4pm-7pm.

“It is open for anybody who wishes to attend,” said a spokesperson. “Please spread the word as we want to see a lot of people come along.”
