The chase for second spot in the Spar One is set to go right to the wire after Llanidloes Town were held to a draw on Wednesday night.

The 2-2 result means that Welshpool Town, who occupy second, are five points clear of The Daffs who have two matches to play, needing to win both to pip Pool. The result also means that Bow Street have an outside chance too, but must win their last five matches.

Meanwhile champions, Llanrhaeadr, won 3-0 at Carno and should they win their last remaining four matches, could end up with a league winning margin of up to 20 points.

Berriew picked up a morale boosting 3-2 win at Borth United to cement their mid table spot, but the spoils were shared between Churchstoke and Kerry.

In Spar Two, there were wins on the road for Montgomery and Abermule.
