Waterloo Rovers’ hopes of finishing the season with the Tanners Town Cup under their belts were dashed by Bishop’s Castle last night.
A first half goal from Adam Putson made the difference as Castle now turn their attention to trying to secure a league title.
Meanwhile, on Saturday there’s still plenty of local football action with Welshpool Town fans keeping an eye on the Llanidloes derby with Carno. A Daffs win will see the battle for second in the Spar Mid Wales League go right to the final game of the season.
