The bunting is back!

The sun it out, and the new bunting is up which must mean summer is here!

With the area set to bask in some warmer weather over the next week, apart from the odd shower or two, Welshpool is looking resplendent and the icing on the cake has been made with the addition of fresh new bunting through the main street.

But before people think that it has been put up just for this weekend’s Royal Wedding spectacle, officials have been quick to confirm that it’s just a coincidence.

“It hasn’t been put up for the Royal Wedding,” a Town Council spokesperson told us. “We usually put it up around this time of year and it will stay up until September/October time.”
