Big Picnic on Fathers’ Day

A family afternoon is being held in Welshpool on Sunday, and this new event will be raising money for a good cause as well as creating awareness for mental health.

The Big Picnic is being organised by Cathy Beech and her fundraising committee for Powis Angel Voice School, in association with Ponthafren Association which is based in Welshpool.

It will be held at Maesydre Playing Fields from 2pm and feature Cathy and members of the Angel Voice Singing School, Hafren Rising Stars students plus The Vertigo Band and Welshpool’s new Angel Bella Llais Choir.

There will be refreshments available throughout the afternoon but everyone is encouraged to bring their own picnic.
