Police react to boy racer claims

Welshpool Police have said they will take action against boy racers if they are breaking the law, and have appealed to local residents for support.

Readers told us that anti-social driving was causing problems on the one-way system with cars travelling between the two car parks throughout the evening.

They claim the cars have been modified with louder exhausts and are speeding at up to 60mph through the town centre.

And following our story, police are asking motorists and residents for evidence.
