There’s a yellow weather warning for a drenching on Friday.
The Met Office has told us to expect heavy and slow moving downpours from 11am-8pm tomorrow, which is the dreaded Friday the 13th.
Here’s what to expect with a ‘yellow warning’:
· Some flooding of a few homes and businesses is likely, perhaps leading to some damage to buildings.
· There is a good chance driving conditions will at times be affected by spray and standing water, leading to some minor journey delays
· Some short term loss of power and other services due to lightning strikes is possible
The last rain of note that we had was way back in late May when large parts of Welshpool were flooded, including the hospital (pictured).
