All through the school holidays, Powysland Museum offers crafts and activities relating to the museum’s exhibition on archaeological jewellery.
The activities are aimed at children age three and above, but children under eight must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is £3 per child.
Although booking is not necessary, it is advisable as each session is limited to 12 children and places will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis. Phone the museum on 01938 554656 to book.
Sessions take place Tuesdays from 11am to 1.30pm.

The activities are part of the “Saving Treasures:Telling Stories” all-Wales Project focusing on bringing archaeology to life and enabling community engagement.
It is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund and administered by Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales in partnership with the Federation of Museums and Galleries in Wales and the Portable Antiquities Scheme in Wales.
