Charges for Welshpool residents attending the Ann Holloway Day Centre are to be reduced for a trial period in a bid to attract more people.
Local residents currently pay £10.50 per day but Welshpool Town Council has voted to reduce the charge to £5 for a six month trial period. Those attending from outside of Welshpool pay £21.50 per day.
Councillor Heather Sherlock questioned the long term viability of reducing charges with Powys County Council funding set to end in five years’ time.
