Guilsfield Show trail run tonight
Scores of runners are expected to take part with a Junior Race for primary school children getting underway at 6pm. It will be followed by the 4.2-mile main event which takes in some of the breathtaking scenery surrounding the village.
It costs £7 for the adults race and just £1 for the juniors, with entries being taken tonight at the Kings Head starting point.
Tomorrow’s show day promises plenty of entertainment with competitions including the dog show, poultry, agricultural produce, craft and cookery, sport, sheep, horses to name just a few, as well as a falconry display and vintage machinery parade.
A new feature will be a music stage featuring local acts playing from 5.30pm through to 9pm.
Entry to the show is: Family (2 Adults/2 Children) £12; Adults £6; Children aged 2 and over £2.
