Welshpool launches Poppy Appeal Friday

Welshpool will launch a busy season of fund raising for the Poppy Appeal with a procession through the town on Friday.

The procession will leave the Town Hall at 1.45pm, leading to the flag being put up at the Tourist Information Centre.

Refreshments will be available and everyone is welcome.

Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that the Town Hall will be lit up in red for the month until the end of the Poppy Appeal on November 18.
