Fancy a cuppa with a copper?

Welshpool’s Neighbourhood Policing Team is inviting you to join them for a cuppa and discuss issues affecting you and the community.

The new initiative is being launched this week at Morrisons where police will be in attendance and available for an informal chat and a cuppa.

 

A spokesperson told us: “It is part of our commitment to community engagement with the intention for this to become a weekly chance for local residents to meet representatives from their Neighbourhood Policing Team.”

 

The weekly session will take place at the supermarket on Wednesdays at 2:30pm.

 

Previous informal meetings have helped the Neighbourhood Policing Team identify local problems and address a variety of issues, including Anti-Social Behaviour.
