U3A meeting Tuesday

The Welshpool & District U3A will meet on Tuesday for their first gathering of 2019.

Julian Allan will deliver a talk about The High Street, with the meeting to be held at the COWSHACC, starting promptly at 10.30 am, although coffee, biscuits and general information is available from 9.45am.

Non-members are welcome to attend and find out about the U3A's activities. Members of the committee will be available to answer questions and help.

Meanwhile, the December meeting welcomed Dorothy Nichol whose lightening talk was on Shropshire Oddities.

Members discovered what strange things can be seen when travelling around Shropshire, and even Powys.
