Are you Under 45 with an opinion?

12/04/2011 @ 12:26

Residents aged under 45 are being urged to take part in a survey about the services Powys County Council provides to local communities.

If you are under this age and use a leisure centre, have children at school or have views on street lighting, street cleaning or refuse collection, the council would like to know how you rate them. The work is part of the council’s annual Residents Survey.

The survey will take around five to 10 minutes to complete and you can take part by visiting http://www.surveys.cardiff.gov.uk/powys/english.asp if you want to complete the survey in English or http://www.surveys.cardiff.gov.uk/powys/cymraeg.asp if you want to complete it in Welsh.

A spokesperson for Powys County Council said: "The views of older residents have already been collected but we need around 150 more residents under the age of 45 to take part in our survey so we get a representative sample.

“Our survey collects the views of around 1,000 residents and we use the findings to monitor the performance of our services and improve them based on criticisms given.

“The Residents Survey is a crucial piece of research for Powys which tells us quite clearly how we are doing in terms of public perception and experience of our services.”
