U-turn over Jehu Road closure

There’s good news for motorists with confirmation that Jehu Road will no longer need to be closed for up to a month from tomorrow.

Initially, contractors requested the closure until June 21 to enable them to crack on with the one-way changes, but that will no longer be the case.

However, Jehu Road will remain as a single lane incursion for now.

In the latest round of updates released, it was confirmed that workers hope to revert Brook Street back to two-way traffic by June 21.
