Thieves strike at pensioner’s place

Two large plant urns (pictured) that were a gift celebrating 25 years of marriage have been stolen from a Welshpool pensioner’s property.

Margaret Stephens hopes that by sharing the news of the incident it will prevent them from being sold on locally and help to bring those responsible to face justice.

The urns were stolen from outside Alfred Jones Place and a friend told us: “Margaret is really upset because of their sentimental value and believes that the more people who know the less chance they have of selling them on.”
