No arrest yet over Talbot attack

01/08/2019 @ 08:38

Hopes that the person(s) responsible for criminal damage at the Talbot, and possibly other pubs in the town over the past year, might have been be caught have been dashed after police said no charges have been made to date.

Despite CCTV being widely shared by the pub’s landlord from the latest 'visit' two weeks ago, the person(s) responsible is still at large with the investigation ongoing.

It is believed that the latest CCTV footage was not clear enough for the culprit to be identified.

“A number of enquiries have been carried out, however at this time there is insufficient evidence to identify those responsible for the damage,” said a police spokesperson.

“The owner has been updated and informed that should new information come to light, this will be investigated.”

Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation is asked to report it to Dyfed-Powys Police, either online at http://bit.ly/DPPReportOnlinecontactcentre@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101.

If you are deaf, hard of hearing, or speech impaired text the non-emergency number on 07811 311 908.
