Police appeal for witnesses after motorcyclist's death

Police are appealing for information following a fatal road accident near Welshpool on Saturday.

The accident happed at around 5-50pm on Saturday on the A458 near to the entrance with Welshpool Golf Club and involved a collision between a red Toyota Land Cruiser and a silver coloured Suzuki motorcycle. The motorcyclist tragically died at the scene. 

“Please contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 quoting ref: 298 of the 3^rd August if you were travelling along this road at the time of the collision and have dash-cam footage or if you witnessed the collision or the vehicles involved travelling along the road,” said a spokesperson for Dyfed Powys Police.
