Arrest made after latest attack on The Talbot

Police have confirmed that a 35 year old man has been arrested following the second paint-spraying damage incident at The Talbot in Welshpool.

CCTV images of the man causing criminal damage at the rear of the pub on July 19 were produced by Landlord Dan Stevens and the man was arrested in Newtown.

 A Dyfed Powys Police statement read: “A 35 year old man was arrested in Newtown on suspicion of criminal damage, on July 19, 2019. He has been released under investigation pending further police enquiries. The investigation is ongoing.”
