Man remanded in custody after Guilsfield assault

A 48-year-old man has been charged following a serious incident in Guilsfield on Sunday.

Craig Bailey of Garth Vaughan, Guilsfield has been charged with wounding with intent and criminal damage in connection to the serious assault which left an elderly man with “potentially life changing injuries.”

Bailey appeared at Welshpool Magistrates this morning and has been remanded in custody.

The victim remains in hospital.
