The Welshpool Carnival Route will run in reverse this month, due to the one-way system which has been installed since last year’s event.
Orgainsers have met with other stakeholders this week to ensure the route was agreed for the procession of lorries that will leave from Berriew Street Car Park (Co-op).
The procession will then continue up Berriew Street before turning left onto Broad Street. It will follow the one-way down Jehu Road to Brook Street and then run along the back road to Church Street. From there it will continue left at the lights to Severn Street and into Howells Drive for Maes y Dre.
The Carnival will be held on Bank Holiday Monday, May 30 with the procession setting off at 1pm.
