Asthma sufferer’s sponsored walk

 

Jessica Slade will walk along the canal from Newtown to her native Arddleen in aid of Asthma UK, along with her father Chris Wright on May 21.

 

It is a condition that runs through her family and she wants to do her bit in fighting what has become the most common long-term medical condition amongst children, affecting over a million in the UK alone.

 

“The reason why I am doing this walk is that it’s not a charity that you see a lot of people raising money and awareness for so I want to do my bit,” she said.
