Pool Quay Road closed after smash

Reports are coming in of a serious road traffic accident on the A483 between Buttington roundabout and Pool Quay (Saturday 6pm).
The road is closed with diversions north via the A490 to Guilsfield and B4392 to Arddleen and south via B4392 and A490 to Welshpool.
Police on the scene have said there is “serious injury” with the road expected to be closed for some time.
